Since the start of the new year, approx. 350 tech companies have laid off nearly 100000+ workers across the globe. Amid the pandemic-driven enthusiasm around digitalization & technology, companies had gone on a hiring drive which now came to a halt towards the end of May 2023, Tech giants started to announce cut manpower to reduce the cost incurred by the organization. In his recent communication to his employees announcing the layoff, the Head of An IT Tech giant said "We're living through times of significant change, and as I meet with customers and partners, a few things are clear. First, as we saw customers accelerate their digital spending during the pandemic, we're now seeing them optimize their digital spending to do more with less.
